The answer would be one word: Yourself. If you feel that the relationship you are in has lost its luster but you still love the person and even if this comes from your partner, it's time for introspection to begin. The last thing that you need in a relationship is to lose yourself or your own identity. Once you stop doing things that make you happy it affects your relationship as well. So the space that you are giving/asking for needs to be utilized in finding yourself again. Do the things that make you happy or try new things and make new favorites.
